$2 coin
There was almost a major drama at the Whitey household with Whitey Jr accidentally swallowing a $2 coin. I don't normally leave that amount of money sitting around where the kids can get their hands on it, but I slipped up this time.
After three days of Whitey Jr making use of the back lawn instead of the toilet, the metal detector finally hit pay dirt. A few minutes blast with the hose and half a bottle of Dettol and the $2 coin was successfully recovered and taken to the bank this morning.
While the final outcome was okay, hopefully I will keep my money better hidden next time.

Perhaps now he has the taste for money you can take your boy round the pubs, sucking up loose change. Isn't it about time he started earning his keep?
Change is as good as a rest, Whitey.
Hope you borrowed that Dettol from the neighbour, that stuff is expensive.
Sir Grumpy
