My favourite album

I was appalled as I sat through My Favourite Album on the ABC last night.

Who would have thought that John Farnham would not be number one? What sort of people voted for these albums? I know that I didn't, but I am sure that there are hundreds of thousands of other people like me who did actually vote.

I have looked through the top 100 on the ABC website and found only four albums that I have:

32. Anthony Callea - Anthony Callea
39. Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory
81. John Farnham - Whispering Jack
83. Darren Hayes - The Tension and the Spark.

Hard to believe that there was only one Farnsey album among the 100. As a protest against the ABC tonight I will get out all my Farnsey farewell concert videos (all seven) and watch them instead.

Brimble drug claims 'fiction'
David King and Jeremy Roberts
December 02, 2006
THE credibility of an anonymous witness giving evidence at the inquest into the death of Dianne Brimble has come under fire, with lawyers for one of the "men of interest" describing the allegations as "fictional".
South Australian Police Commissioner Mal Hyde also attacked the evidence of the anonymous informant codenamed Mr Peter White, saying his claims of police corruption raised at the inquest lacked substance.

"The mystery witness appeared in the NSW Coroners Court and was not able to provide any material to support his claims," Mr Hyde said.

"His claims appear to be based largely on conversations he had with other people."

However, Mr Hyde did not rule out making further inquiries into Mr White's claims that one person of interest, Matthew Slade, was a drug dealer operating with the protection of South Australian police.

Under cross-examination in Glebe Coroners Court, Mr White said he had not seen person of interest Petar Pantic dealing drugs, despite earlier alleging Mr Pantic was a dealer.

Mr White said yesterday he had seen Mr Pantic "off his face on drugs" and "carrying on like a pork chop", but had never seen him distribute drugs.

Mr Pantic's barrister, Peter Hayes, described Mr White's evidence as "fictional".

Mr White, who gave evidence from a separate room and had his voice electronically distorted, told the court he was giving evidence because of a "moral obligation".

I say Whitey, can you give me the inside 'gen on this "electronically distorted voice" bizzo? I'm doing a new album ala Cher with the whole techo sound and I think it might come in handy.

I'm extremely upset by all the "quotations" that are going on in the "comments" section of this "blog" (see "above"). These quotations "could" be more effectively used educating our "youth", an area of governance pathetically neglected by the "public" "servants" more interested in giving taxpayer dollars to the likes of "Hawthorn" football club.

and another "thing"....
