Hey Whitey - great to observe you're still in the land of the living! I've been very much missing your brand of online commentary on life, the world, and notable Hobart entities this year.
Also laughed my head off at the hair straightener suggestion, as, from my hospital bed last week (thus unable to do anything other than stage-manage from the sidelines), I reluctantly handed over my credit card to youngest daughter (aged 26), with instructions to buy ingredients for Xmas Day meal, plus specific Xmas presents for children and grandchildren. She returned with $200 of groceries plus a hair straightener (for herself!! - wtf?). She (who has the straightest natural hair in Hobart) claimed this was what she'd always wanted for Xmas! I am now severely tempted to use it for the purpose you have suggested!
