Les Lees still stands!
While it is very sad that the Myer store burnt down on Saturday, their prices have always kept me away.
I dashed down to Liverpool St on Sunday morning to make sure that everything was okay. The area was blocked off from Murray St, but I did breath a huge sigh of relief when I could see that Les Lees had escaped unscathed.

Whitey, I heard today that there were goodies like lipsticks etc to be had by standing down hill of where the water from the fire brigades hoses was running in the gutters late Sat evening. Apparently the savvy (and tightarses) of the city were there grabbing their selection!
Were you amongst them?
Sadly that huge sigh of relief you breathed will probably give you a dose of mesothelioma, given the amount of asbestos in the air.
Think of the medical bills...
Oh, the humanity...
Rita,
Yes - one cherry red and two rose pink.
Whitey,
Do you watch Australian Idol? Why do they have to try a produce a rock star when the tried and true method of working the pubs produces the best ones. Just look at Farnsey and Shannon Noll. They wouldn't appear on such dribble. PS Do you vote?
Paul, I don't believe voting is free, so no.
