Lack of birthday presents
As I have always viewed frugality as a one-way street, I have been very disappointed with the lack of presents so far. Hopefully they are in the mail.

Is that you giving us prior warning Whitey, or are we overdue with our present-giving?
Happy birthday. Only posting this because it's free (to me) - paid for by my employer. I know you'll appreciate the sentiment.
Hi Whitey
just remember, it is the thought that counts. We are all thinking of you, so it is a tribute to your influence that we are all being so thrifty!
The Ex Pres
I tried to write you a birthday poem.
I started out:
"Whitey, oh Whitey
Your head is so shiney."
But then I couldn't think of anything that rhymed with shiney so I gave it away.
How about briney?
What about tiny - there's even a bit of his anatomy that goes with it...
Baz, me old cock, you're going about this the wrong way. You need to focus on the key concept, which is... "Whitey"!
Allow a quick tute from the master:
Whitey, oh Whitey
You head sure is mighty,
Shiney
But your bits are tiny
According to your missus,
But I don't know thissus,
What you want to hear,
for a birthday present,
etc etc
see - easy when you know how!
How's yer mum by the way?
All the best,
Pam
Thanks Pam. Mum is well.
