Pluto is no longer a planet

This topic appears to be of interest. I am not sure why as I can't see what is in it for me.

I thought I would be able to take my book on the solar system back to the shop and ask for a refund as it is wrong (what would the ACCC have to say?), but then I noticed the inside cover of the book.

I should have returned it to the Devonport library before 17 June 1983. It's a good thing when I moved I didn't give the library my new address.

What's in it for you?

If they were allowed to classify any old smooth shiny thing that orbits the sun a planet then you could be next Whitey.

Imagine having your head exhibited in every school textbook, oh the horror!!

Dear Mr Whitey.
Your overdue fees can wipe out the state's current account deficit.
I NEED A GOOD NEWS STORY.
Send cheque immediately or I will talk to one of my mates.
You know I can,
Yours Sincerely
Big Red

what's the use - now that Spirit III is gone devingport will just whiver and die, and the world will end too so library books will not be needed.

- why didn't they move Hawthorn to devingport??? the people what used to serve at the bay marie on Spirit III could serve pois and the people what loaded the cars could direct people where to park at the oval. Surely, whitey, with your contacts at the core of govt you could make this happen, surely, Big Red, if you read this make it so.

Whitey

Don't waste your time returning the book. There are two thing Deadenport locals do not need, and would never use.

1. A library.
2. A dentist.
