Frugal tips from an amateur
Whilst I admire the effort that Paul has put in, his tips are still very basic. Not that I have bought his book to see if he has any better ideas.

Paul obviously isn't a regular reader of your blog Whitey, or he'd realise the absurdity of his second-rate frugal tips in comparison to your good self! Ever thought of writing the ultimate Frugality Hints book yourself, based on your extensive research into same, the results of which you've documented very well for us on this blogsite?
Sounds a bit like hard work.
Keep those cheap eats coming!
Hi Whitey
I agree with Rita - this guy is a rank amateur compared to your good self (and the members of your fan club, for that matter). Perhaps you should contact him and give him some pointers? Now the work bans are over, it is critical for public servants to look busy!

I miss the work bans.
It gave us something to talk about to fill in the long gap between lunch and afternoon tea.
Me too, Whitey. I think I might have to get a working group or two set up, so I can look busy. Organising lunch-time meetings is good. I always make sure the initial invitee list is comprehensive, especially for catering purposes. When half the working group has to cancel, I can usually be guaranteed of enough lunch time leftovers for dinner, and lunch the next day.
Cheers,
the Pres
