Grapes
I can't believe the money that my wife wastes sometimes.
Yesterday she went to the supermarket (this always makes me nervous) and bought some grapes, but she forgot to pick each grape individually and put them in the plastic bag. Instead she just purchased a complete bunch.
When I found out I removed all the grapes and weighed the remaining stalks. There was 37 grams of stalks and at $3.99 per kilogram that means the wife wasted 14.7c!!!
What a disaster.

Hey Whitey - you would have loved a chef I used to work alongside in Sandy Bay. Exasperated with the poor quality meat the butcher had been delivering despite numerous complaints from said chef, the final straw came one day when a "fatty" meat delivery arrived in the kitchen and chef made poor delivery boy stand there & wait while he trimmed all the fat off the meat, weighed the fat, subtracted the appropriate amount off the bill & gave both the fat and re-priced bill to delivery boy! It took ages because there was a ton of meat to de-fat!
That's how it should be.
